Shifting Cities is the name of the new album of Promenade Sauvage. The music on this album was inspired by countless small and large displacements that end on our cities’ ever moving shores, and by the dance of a place that we enter and make up as we go along. Most of all it is an ode to the beloved Brussels, whose friendly anarchy offers a warm embrace for souls off kilter, and where this album was recorded in a hot Covid summer on Luca’s little attic kingdom.
With Luca Piovesan on accordion and Maarten Stragier on the guitar, Promenade Sauvage is an unusual duo with extraordinary sonic reach.
